Gracemere is situated approx 10klms west of Rockhampton in Central Queensland. It is the hub for cattle sales both for the meatworks industry and stud sales and Quarter Horse sales. All this is conducted at the modernised Gracemere Saleyards Complex. It is also the home base for many miners working in mines located to the north, west and south west of Gracemere.
