Tips on Selling your Property

First and foremost - First Impressions are everything!

Take a step back and look at your home - would you buy it?

• Ensure that your gardens and the outside of your home is clean and well maintained - a weekend working bee may be required prior to any inspections!
• Remove all unneccessary items - you may like lots of knicknacks about but it can make your home look cluttered and small. Buyers want to visualise their belongings in your home.
• Open windows and curtains - lots of light and fresh air adds to a homely feeling!
• Ensure that inside your home is tidy and well maintained - a fresh coat of paint does wonders to the look of a home.
• Remember that you are selling your home - so keep this in mind when getting your home ready, not everyone has the same likes and dislikes so a simple neutral theme probably works best
• Selling a home is stressful enough - so don't try to do a major renovation just to sell your home - keep it clean, keep it maintained and keep it simple!
